I was driving around in my bronco yesterday and my indicators are working fine. I park it for and turn it off for 5 mins and i come back and both the left and right indicators cease to work. I have no idea what it could be. Im hoping its a blown fuse but i dont believe so and i actually cant check because i dont no where my fuse box is. Bad i know but ive been a bit busy to find it. Im really hoping it isnt a deeper problem because im hopeless with auto elec stuff.

...im hopeless with auto elec stuff.
If you really can't handle it, then you might as well take it to a pro now. But that's gonna get expen$ive, fa$t, if you keep driving a 30-y.o. truck. So I suggest you buy a $20-50 digitial multimeter (but even an $8 one will work for now), set it to either Ohms (resistance) or TONE (continuity/diode check), and find out if the turn/hazard switch is still making contact. This album shows the wire colors:

Test from the turn flasher input wire to each turn output wire (one at a time, of course) while working the switch in the corresponding direction. It should make & break contact with the lever BARELY offcenter (before the click). If it doesn't, try working the hazard switch rapidly to clean its contacts. If it improves, start shopping for a replacement.

The wire colors & switch logic are virtually identical to these; the connector shapes are the only real differences for this thread:

yo Steve,
I see that. HawkRdr prob copied and saved it in his PC/& SM so that he had a reference for his 82.

Now ive tried the hazards/four ways which i should of done to begin with and they all work. All bulbs are working on both sides. So this now means it cant be a fuse right?
Which then would mean its a problem with level/switch in the steering column.
Btw thanks for all the help so far

yo, Fuse is good,

If a previous owner or shop hacked it all up, it will be evident when you test the turn/hazard switch.
With hazard switch Off: as shown in the switch logic test that Steve posted for 92-96, but w/slightky different wire colors;
Check for power at LtGRN/ORN wire from turn switch to Left turn lamp w/switch in Left turn position;

ck for power at ORN/LtBlu wire from turn switch to Rght turn lamp w/switch in Right turn position

I'm not talking about making hard-to-find diagrams available; I'm talking about taking a pic that's already on SMN and putting on SMN again. Or taking one from SMN and putting it on some other image-hosting site. If it's already available, what's the point?

And when I upload diagrams from other sources, I usually correct/improve/combine/simplify them, so they're not simply copies. ;)

yo Steve, I have no explanation as to why that person did it; why not ask him in SM?

btw, he at least one more C&P of some of your diagram(s)

Just to offer some insight - I'll download stuff because I'd hate to lose it if the original host ever stopped making it available.
Then I'll rehost it on dropbox (privately) because it's a very convenient way for me to access it from multiple computers.
Perhaps he just rehosted it so 1) He doesn't lose it if you remove it and 2) so he can access it anywhere. Maybe SM is the only way he knows how to host things.
