Power Steering Box

does anyone know what year power steering box i can put in my 79 bronco?

take a look at TRUCK my 79 custom. 6" front, 4" rear, 460, 37s, 8 lug conversion. F&R discs. this season, i will have the D60/D60 installed, rear detroit and front ARB with 4.88s and 39.5 IROKs on hummer double bealocks, hydro assist and crossover steering

newer years had the box inside the frame i think. ours go outside the frame

Frames were wider on the 1980's and up. Ax is right.

I have taken PS boxes off of earlier F-150's that fit as well.

You should be able to use one from 73 to 79 F-150 or 78-79 Bronco. You cannot use a newer one or F-250 gear box. I wouldn't reccomend getting a used one. It will most likely be worn out anyway. You can get a rebuilt one for $100 to $150 at your local parts store with a lifetime warranty.

locally they are $249 rebuilt + core. rebuild kits are $30
