Ford tough, ain't nothing like it.

When the F150 has been the best rated pickup for 25+ some years, you'd think some the other manufacturers would just give the hell up. Especially the Toyotas and Nissans that don't even compare to the Ford, Chevy, and Dodge.

I like my 08 better too. The 09's just don't look right. Tailgate is weird.

I thought the Dodge fuel door was going to shake off during the speed bump episode.

I almost fell out of my chair watching the way that Toyota's ass was bouncing around... and I didn't think the Dodge was gonna make it for a second there...

Never drove one but that's what I always heard from people who did. At low speeds it's a pig, but once it gets moving, it's pretty responsive. I am hoping the 6-speed transmission fixed some of that fat-pig slowness at lower speeds.

I had an 08 F150 for a few weeks. 46 miles on it when I got it. Needless to say, comfortable ride..but it's slow from start to stop. It gets better..around 60mph or so. But honestly.. I'd much rather have the speed between the 20-40 mark for when I really need it..in the city.

He posted it on f150online, let me see if I can find the link...

5.4. Sorry..but they are slooooooow. And what I consider slow is.. I've owned my Titan for 5 years. I've raced silverado, f150, ram, tundra. If I was to put in order.. I'd say Tundra, Ram, Silverado, F150 in the order, starting with the quickest. I've yet to loose a race against another stock truck in its class. And I've had the pleasure to race my old co-workers 07 F150 fully loaded, with the bed full of dirt. My bed full of dirt (for a landscape job for a friend)..and he got over next to me at a red light. We had about 1 mile of open road, no cars around, bright sunny summer day. Needless to say, his truck did worse than when empty! And I had just as much dirt as him!!

Again let me say, I like the F150, it's a nice ride, looks good and comfortable as all sorts..just it is slacking BIG time when it comes to power
