Again, a great start this Month... I believe this is the first "stock" FOTM contest that we have had and already you guys are proving what a Stock Bronco can do... Keep those pictures coming in... :rockon
I hear you, as a the owner of what is now 4 Broncos in a row.
As long as I can still find them in acceptable condition,
there will be a 5th, 6th, and so on until the day I die.
As time goes on nicer ones are getting harder to find.
I still say that Mustang is pretty awesome
and deserves attention too.
Gotta spread the love around to all his toys.
Also. i see him with plenty of pictures his truck
"topless", so he does partake of the opportunity.
At one point my Bronco was starting to look good with my ******* window tint and paint job (basically bronco covered in mud...lol) But it was getting so caked up on the engine that my throttle was sticking. So I broke down and put that soap and water stuff on her :whiteflag This is what she looked like after. Poor thing was embarrassed to be seen in public.
Went out scouting locations and found this great mural.
It was on a building next to my nearest Advance Auto Parts store.
While waiting for a couple cars to clear lot exit
for shooting, a Hot Rod came rambling through.
First it was a deep rumble.
Then as it neared the tone changed.
They just kept coming.
And coming, I thought it would never end.
In the end it turned into an outright procession.
Thinking they must have been on their way to Ybor City, a
popular strip in Tampa that is somewhat of a cross between
Key West's Duval St, & New Orleans French Quarter.
Since recycling topless photos is fashionable,
Thought we would bring these back.
The lakes around here are crazy low right now. So I went out and did a little driving around on the "beach" that is usually underwater....lol This particular lake is over 7 feet low.
if the lake was full where I am sitting to take this pic I would be under water.
Might as well pull up on something and strike a pose.
My girlfriends daughter wanted to ride with me. She likes riding in the Bronco.
look what I found. :rockon
looking up from the bottom.
up the hill
down the hill, 3 wheelin!!!!!
more usually underwater stuff
at the top of the hill in the last pic
the drive up this hill
had to stop by a field of blue bonnets on the way back home. This is my girlfriends daughter, she wanted a pic in the blue bonnets.
Ya, we were keeping an eye out for the owner....lol. One time we came back from the mud boggs with a friends truck and washed his truck there but that was in the middle of the night. It cost us $15 or $20 to wash his truck there and this is a dollar car wash. :duh
this is what his truck looked like before we hit the car wash...lol
I added the 33" MTs, a day star leveling kit, blacked out the chrome around the wind shield, bumpers and mirrors. Put some lights on the bumper and chopped the bumper where I smashed it. I added the sliding rear windows, GT roll bar, roof rack and cargo net and if you look under the 4x4 emblem on the front end, you can see my PA speaker.
Pics from my trip out to Bridgeport OHV park. There was supposed to be a group of 5 or 6 of us going out there. But the morning of the guy that arranged it got called in to work and had to go out of town. So everyone else backed out all of a sudden but me. So the girlfriend and I headed out there. We figured we would meet someone out there we could hang out with....lol. We ended up meeting up with a couple of guys that were there for the first time also. One had a Jeep he had just bought brand new 5 days earlier and the other guy had a big dodge truck that he was afraid to get messed up. So they all watched while I ran around and did stupid stuff.
These are the 2 guys we explored with
The beginning of the fun stuff
looking down from the top of the canyon
This was one of those really frustrating moments. Neither of the guys with me would drive down this and they were ready to turn around. I said to hell with it and drove down it and back up. The guy with the dodge truck videoed it but never sent me the video :twak
looking up the hill
back at the gate. Notice how clean their trucks are. The guy with the Jeep was afraid he was going to scratch his Jeep...lol.
