Interesting, indeed. Good for you for doin it your way. Just a thought though, I had mine about that high after 4-linking the rear with 38's and didn't like it. Maybe it's my soft rear springs, but it felt too top heavy. I lowered it down a good 2-3 inches, and like it much better. Driveline angles sucked too, they'll live much longer now, I'm sure.

think its just you... either that or photobucket had a moment of duh....

they show up for me everytime...

anyways, i will post pics shortly of the re-worked bottom coil mounts. also, today, the decision was made to go ahead and just 4-link the rear now... instead of waiting...

Thanks.... Could've tried a different spring first before lowering it... but if you like it! that's all that matters. Driveline angle for the front axle on mine is ok... Since the newer axles have the pumpkin more to the drivers side the driveshaft doesn't have to reach as far therefore, i didn't even have to extend my shaft.... Now the rear. I'm just getting to it.. So we'll see how that gets tackled.

also i decided yesterday to not wait before linking the rear. Gonna go with a spring with a different rate... Hopefully i won't run into any issues with it feeling too top heavy...

Bronco Info: 1990 Eddie Bauer. Swaped in 351W. AOD, SAS. 4.88's, electric locker in rear, 35's.

Are you going to be able to get full lock to lock turning with that tierod setup without the tubing hitting the diff cover? I know that with the factory tie rod it curves down to clear the cover, but you have it just about even with the part of the diff cover that sticks out the most by putting it on top of the mount.

I must say SUPERB fab skills! A+

I've got Explorer Pro-Comp 8" rear leafs (they said they were 8" Bronco and 6" truck springs) in mine and they do just fine, nice and flexy yet yielded a nice lift after a shackle flip and a 1" block mine sits perfect. with a sterling 10.25 and a Dana 60 king pin in it. oh and 8" skyjacker front ttb springs.

x2 I personally don't like that too much.

Other than that everything looks great! I admire all of your fab work, top notch!
