302 carbed engine trouble

My friend has a 83 bronco with a 302. It's been rebuilt and has been running fine until lately. It won't start. Seems like it's getting fire and wants to crank but never does. Fuel pressure runs about 8 psi, gas is being delivered by the carb ( gas squirting from carb into intake). Fire is being delivered by Msd coil and ign box. I pulled a spark plug and all were pretty much soaked with gas. Cleaned and reinstalled them. It wanted to crank but never did. I'm thinking it might be some bad gas.. any other thoughts

Seems like its getting fire??

Have you physically checked for spark? At all plugs too?

I've heard those MSD coils turn out to be junk. Just had a guy here with a new MSD coil that went bad after 15 weeks. Sent him bonkers looking for his issue.

update. It's a carb problem. pour gas done the carb it will start right up and run as long as you want it to. Shut it down and try to crank off carb and it will not start. Beats me?? Carb is putting gas into the intake when throttle is pressed.

I never had any trouble from my MSD and it's about 8 years old. maybe they changed something in the last few years. Dont know what the problem was with my friends carb but after we poured the gas in the carb a few times it starts and runs great. ??
