I have a 86 Bronco with a 302 EFI, I can't get it to start.
First I'd like to say I'm a diesel guy and gassers are new to me. This is my first gasser that has ever needed fixing. If it runs on diesel I can fix, seeing how this bogger runs I gas I need some help.

I replaced the upper and lower intake gaskets do to leakage. Then I noticed the dizzy was leaking so I replaced the O ring on it. I put the dizzy back in and got it running, I could not get it turned to time without hitting the TFI on the thermostat so I pulled the dizzy out to re-clock it so I could time it properly. I pulled the spout the first time I tried to time it, I did not plug the spout back in when I pulled the dizzy the second time and it's still out.

I can not get the engine to start. I have double and triple checked that #1 is on TDC.
I took the TFI into be tested and it tested good. I replaced the Dizzy with a reman from VatoZone thinking the PIP was bad. None of this was worked.

I am not getting any spark from the coil. I have 12.1 volts going to the coil.
I was thinking that the coil is not being told to ground :shrug

I have been reading on a self test and that will be next. I'd also like to say I pulled the positive battery cable when I worked on the engine so I am not sure if I'll get any codes.

I am gathering parts to rebuild the front end of the truck (F150) - tie rod, ball joints, axle u-joints ,etc. The other thing I need is new front coil springs. I was checking and it looks as though stock spring height, loaded is 12"

I checked rockauto and found the following springs:

RAYBESTOS Part # 5871025 {Professional Grade; Sold in Pairs -- Inside Diameter=4" Wire Diameter=.72" Free Height=16.38" Load height=13"}

RAYBESTOS Part # 5871089 Free Height=16.13" Load height=14" 1994 E350 SuperWagon

The first are HD for F150 and a look to offer 1" over stock. The 2nd are for an '94 E350 and offer 2" over stock.

Is there any reason I wouldn't be able to use the E350 coils for a slight lift/level. I would also purchase adjustable camber bushings to help compensate for the height.

I was looking at these camber bushings from Napa. They appear to be full roational up to 2 3/8". Are these any good? - or better recommendations.

Hi! First post, but I've done a lot of research on here as I've been rebuilding an 89 Eddie Bauer for a friend. I've already done the big stuff (all the rubber in the suspension, rebuilt hubs, completely new brake system, etc) and I'm down to the less "significant" stuff like little electrical gremlins.

I'm trying to diagnose a non-working passenger side brake light. It is a dual-filament bulb with 3 wires into the socket: org/lt.blue (turn signal & stop), brown (tail), & purple (ground).

- Driver's side brake light works.
- Both tail lights work.
- Both driver's and passenger's side turn signals work.
- Hazard flashers flash both sides.
- When the hazards are on and the brakes applied, both brake lights (and front turn signals) are on.

According to the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual, the turn signal & stop lights use the same circuit, going from the brake switch on the pedal to the directional/hazard switch, and from there to the light. I had the steering wheel off anyway, and noticed that the org/lt.blue wire was broken off the switch so the whole switch got replaced. There was no change to the above behavior. The org/lt.blue wire does have 12v coming out of the switch when the brake is applied (when the light doesn't work) as well as when the blinker or hazards are on (when the light does work).

What I can't figure out is how the turn signal & hazard flashers work on the passenger side - which indicates that the circuit is good; and the driver's side brake light works - indicating the brake switch is good. I'm out of ideas...any help? I have done a lot of searching on this issue, and haven't seen anything describing similar issues.

Little history, I Drive the bronco about once a week, it only has 88K miles.
Its a 93. with the 5.8.
I have started noticing the past couple time Ive parked it some oil spots.
I have driven it about 3 short trips over the past month and every time I park it for a few days I notice a bigger and bigger spot of oil under it.
Here is the biggest spot, last time I drove it was last Monday to go about 2 miles to the store and back and it has been parked since.
