leaf spring replace coil spring

COMMENT DON'T JUST READ IT...

i have a 4 inch lift coil spring in the front of my bronco i wanted to lift it to a 6"-9" lift and put blocks on the springs but i need leafs on the front end is there a easy way to do such a thing without welding or cutting anything???

New negative batt cable

Last friday (the 13th of course) I was leaving work and the Bronc wouldn't start. I suspected the long negative cable as it was a bit frayed and looked like general @$$ but once I had a power failure that was it.

So, off to my local Autozone for a universal replacement 38" top post battery cable. A little cussing, removing stuck/rusted bolts, swap in the new cable, put everything back, and I now have this:

BRONCO BED

i just bought my 1978 FSB and im restoring it and im blacking everything out and cromein it out
the bed was a mix of red blue and rust so i used 60 sand paper and sanded the floor to the metal then i used a can spray on bed liner from wal-mart next to the bondo stuff in automotive
and covered the whole floor in it let it sit over night and the next moring i was shocked at how great it looked for about 25 bucks out the door u can buy 3 cans of it is what i used and it covers the whole...

351W / mallory COMP-9000

PLEASE HELP i have a mallory COMP-9000 dis in my 351W i need to pull it out and replace the gear on it but the moter will not release it from the block even after i turned it...
what would be holding the dis in the moter


i just pryed the dis out the block and the gear was trashed so what would cause it to shred to peaces like the??? the oil pump? the timeing??? please help

weekend progress 11/07/09

I have to say I made a ton of progress on the Bronco this weekend.

The GF was being difficult about using her new Digi cam in the garage so I only got 1 or 2 pics that I'll post when I get a chance.

The number 1 priority was replacing the EGR air tube to the intake manifold.
This involved removing the upper plenum to get the tube out. It wasn't very difficult just a little tough manuvering in the engine bay. I have to say that the engine runs SOOOO much better...
